The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) said it will hold a press conference on Jan. 5 regarding a 34-year-old homicide case. Authorities said Tracey Neilson was murdered on January 5, 1981 inside her Moore apartment on her 21st birthday. Investigators said Neilson, an OU student, was stabbed to death.

Authorities told News 9 a critical piece of evidence will be displayed at the press conference at 2:30 p.m. OSBI officials said they will also announce a reward for information on the case and several of Neilson's family members will speak.

Bilingual services will be available at the conference, held at OSBI headquarters, located at 6600 N. Harvey Place.
