Norman police arrested a man on multiple complaints, including DUI, after he crashed his vehicle into a fence and left the scene on Christmas Day.

According to police, Thursday morning, 30-year-old Kyle Frederick Anderson crashed his vehicle into a fence and some bushes at a home in the 2700 block of Tioga Cir.

Police said Anderson left the scene following the crash. But he was found by officers a short time later in a parking lot in the 200 block of Woodcrest Dr.

While speaking to Anderson, officers said they could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from Anderson's person. He also had watery, bloodshot eyes.

Anderson reportedly admitted to crashing his vehicle into the fence and bushes, and leaving the scene of the accident. A breathalyzer test measured Anderson's BAC at .09. The legal limit is .08.

Anderson was taken into custody on complaints of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
