OKC Car Chase Ends In Crash

Emergency crews responded to a car crash at I-35 northbound at 23rd Street in Oklahoma City.

Authorities say what started as a routine traffic stop, ended in the suspect fleeing and leading OKC police on a chase.

The chase started west of OKC on I-40 wound to the south side and back up to the north ending at I-35 and NE 23rd street where suspect, driving a Green Chevy Pickup S-10 then crashed.

Due to the incident, I-35 northbound at 23rd street was shut down.

Crews have since cleared the scene and all traffic is flowing.
