Rain chances are back in the forecast as temperatures stay cold through the end of the work week.

Tuesday night will be cold. Lows will drop into the upper 20s and low to mid-30s. There is a very slight chance of some light rain in far southwest Oklahoma Tuesday night. Don't expect much.

Wednesday morning, rain chances will start increasing across central Oklahoma. It won't necessarily be heavy, but it'll be enough to bring a tenth to about a quarter of an inch across the viewing area. With the clouds and rain, highs will struggle to reach the upper 30s and lower 40s.

Wednesday afternoon, almost the entire state will have at least some light rain. By Wednesday evening, northern Oklahoma will have the chance of a very light winter mix. It shouldn't cause many, if any, problems.

Cloudy and drizzly conditions will persist through Thursday and Friday with highs only in the mid-40s, cold and nasty. However, by the weekend, temperatures will warm back into the lower 50s with lots of sunshine; perfect weather for the last weekend before Christmas. Great shopping weather, too!

Looking ahead to Christmas week, temperatures will warm back up into the low and mid 50s as rain chances return Monday and Tuesday. Right now, Christmas Eve will be cool and sunny while Christmas Day looks partly cloudy with highs in the lower 60s. As always, though, look for that forecast to change.
