Peterson Reinstatement Appeal Denied

The NFL announced Friday afternoon that Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson's appeal for reinstatement has been denied.

Peterson will still be ineligible to play this season due to his suspension stemming from child abuse charges.

It's likely the NFL Players Association will file a lawsuit on the former Sooners' behalf to try to get him reinstated before April 15. The NFL said in the original suspension it wouldn't consider reinstatement before that date.
