Drunk Man Sexually Assaults Woman At OKC Club

An Oklahoma City man is facing a sexual battery charge after drunkenly assaulting a woman at a night club on the west side of Oklahoma City over the weekend.

OKC Police were called out to Graham's Country Club, located at 3700 W. Reno Ave., just before midnight on Friday in regards to the assault. When the officers arrived they located the suspect, 39-year-old Matthew Holden, who was already placed in handcuffs by club security.

Police then spoke with the victim, who said she was at the club with some of her friends for her birthday. She said she went to the bathroom and when she came back out, Holden walked up to her and pulled down her dress, exposing her breast in front of other people at the club.

Club security witnessed the attack and apprehended Holden shortly after. Officers took custody of Holden and placed him in the back of a police car. Police also detected a strong smell of alcohol coming from Holden's breath.

The victim told police that she did not know Holden and did not make contact with him while at the club up until the alleged incident.

Holden was transported to the Oklahoma County Jail where he was booked on one count of Sexual Battery and two counts of Public Drunkenness. Details on his bond were not immediately available.
