3.5 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Medford

A 3.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Medford, Oklahoma, Thursday afternoon.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 12:04 p.m. Its epicenter was located nine miles east, southeast of Medford, and 26 miles west of Ponca City.

It was about two miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
