The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake in Logan County Monday evening.
According to the USGS, the 3.0 magnitude quake shook the area three miles south of Guthrie and 11 miles north, northeast of Edmond at 6:16 p.m.
The earthquake was more than three miles deep, the USGS reported.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
