Store surveillance video caught a couple charging up thousands of dollars on a stolen credit card. One of the victims spoke out in hopes of catching the thieves. The woman they stole it from said she and her husband fear for their lives. They don't want to be identified, but they're hoping someone can identify the people who used their credit card.

“We just felt threatened and so terribly unsafe. Every night at the apartment we would barricade the door,” the victim said.

The door was no match for whoever broke inside their home. They took credit cards, a computer and even a guitar she gave her husband as an anniversary gift 36 years ago.

"Our life was on that computer,” she said. “Social security numbers, family photos. Just everything."

The thieves used the couple's credit card 12 times, and it was caught on store surveillance video. Thieves used it once at 7-11, three times to Gordman's, as well as Walmart, Home Depot and a Dollar Store, racking up about $2,000.

But this woman had no idea anything was wrong until her credit card company started calling her.

"I didn't answer it, because I didn't want to talk on the phone,” she said. “It was Saturday evening, and I didn't think it was anything serious, but Sunday morning they called again, and I did answer it because I thought something might be wrong."

And there was.

"We just freaked out,” she said. “We started calling the credit card companies trying to get our cards canceled."

She also changed passwords to her account.

"It was a horrible nightmare trying to get it all straightened out,” she said. "I just want these people caught. I would do anything to get them caught and don't want it to happen to anybody else."

Anyone with information on this case should call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300.
