GOLDSBY, Oklahoma -

A Goldsby veterans group is helping hundreds of Oklahomans each month get what they need and deserve. The organization is called 'Veterans Corner' and they meet every Thursday morning at the Goldsby Community Center.

Dale Graham founded Veterans Corner 10 years ago. He said one of the big things his 110 volunteers do is help veterans and their families fill out Veterans Administration paperwork. That paperwork, Graham said, is key.

Vietnam veteran and Silver Star recipient Robert Root said Veterans Corner has been invaluable in helping him deal with a prostate cancer diagnosis three years ago. "They'll fill out your paperwork and they dot the I's and cross the T's, and need be, if you can't travel, they'll arrange transportation," he said.
