Police are investigating surveillance video taken from a Northeast OKC home showing a woman who was attacked with a baseball bat looking for help.

Police are investigating surveillance video taken from a northeast Oklahoma City home showing a woman who was attacked with a baseball bat looking for help.

Police have arrested 34-year-old LaQuient King for beating his ex-girlfriend Tuesday Morning with the bat. The surveillance video shows the woman running from a man carrying a baseball bat to the house on NW 33rd St.

Before she knocks on the door for help, the video shows the woman collapse. It also shows the man throw the bat to the ground as he tries, unsuccessfully, to wake the woman up before he walks off. Moments after the man leaves, the woman regains consciousness and starts knocking on the door and window for help.

Police told News 9 the woman suffered serious injuries, but was able to dial 911 and is expected to survive.

The suspect, King, was found at his mother's home and arrested Tuesdays afternoon.
