Much Colder, Strong North Winds On Tuesday Across Oklahoma

Posted: Updated:

It is a cold and blustery morning after a powerful Arctic front rolled in overnight.

Most of the state will awaken to 20s and 30s temperatures with strong north winds 15-30 mph. Those winds may gust up to 40 plus mph so take a coat.

High profile vehicles may have difficulty on East-West roads today so be aware of this in your travels.

It will be cold all day with an afternoon high near 40 degrees. Skies will be fair with some high clouds around, and winds stay 15-30 mph most of the day.

Tonight, it will be cold with overnight lows near 20 degrees. This cold air mass will continue to hug Oklahoma for over the next week.
