Prepare for the cold. Once a strong arctic cold front comes through Monday night, our temperatures will fall to well below normal and stay there for an extended period of time. The cold front should be here late Monday evening with temperatures falling to the upper 20's by Tuesday morning.
Sustained wind out of the north will blow at around 20 mph with gusts anywhere between 30 and 50 mph behind our cold front. Wind chills will be in the 20's for most of the day Tuesday. Despite seeing mostly sunny skies, our high temperature will only reach around 40 degrees.
Temperatures fall to the mid-30's on Wednesday with increasing clouds. We introduce the chance for a mixture of wintry precipitation on Saturday with light snow a possibility on Sunday. Bundle up!
