Lawton Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash

A Lawton, Oklahoma, man was killed after crashing his motorcycle Sunday night.

A Lawton, Oklahoma, man was killed after crashing his motorcycle Sunday night.

It happened just after 9 p.m. on S.W. 11th Street, about 400 feet north of State Highway 36 in Comanche County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 2007 Harley Davidson driven by 42-year-old Kenneth Glenn Brown Jr. was southbound on S.W. 11th, when it ran off the roadway to the right for an unknown reason.

The motorcycle then overturned and rolled an unknown amount of times. Brown was transported by Air-Evac to the OU Medical Center, suffering from head injuries. He died at 6:44 a.m. due to injuries sustained in the crash.

Brown was not wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck. Troopers said they did smell an odor of alcohol on Brown. 

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
