Oklahoma City police shot and killed a suspect who police said fired shots at police with an officer's gun.

Oklahoma City police shot and killed a suspect who police said fired shots at police with an officer's gun.

It all happened after 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Police said the suspect robbed a 7-Eleven at 36th and Penn. and then fled the scene.

An officer searching for the suspect located a man fitting his description two blocks away and gave chase.

“The first officer encountered the suspect, an altercation ensued where the suspect was able to disarm the officer. The suspect shot at the first officer, and opened fire as another officer arrived on scene. The suspect hit the police cruiser. The second officer returned fire as a third officer arrived on scene. The third officer and the second officer opened fire shooting the suspect,” Captain Paco Balderrama said.

The suspect has not been identified. All three officers on scene have been placed on administrative leave. None of the officers were injured in the shooting.
