A store security camera captured crooks stealing thousands of dollars worth of gold chains right in front of the clerk. According to the police report, it happened at the Discount Jewelry Store inside the Old Paris Flea Market Saturday night.

The store owner said he is frustrated that he's seen an increase in crime at his jewelry stand lately.

So much so, that he recently put up surveillance cameras and came to us with the video of the crooks in action.

“Well there's a lot of people who come over there,” said the jewelry stand owner, who does not want to be identified for fear of retaliation. “There's good people and bad people."

He said in the past seven years, he's seen more than his fair share of theft at The Old Paris Flea Market.

On the video, you could see a young black male in a grey hooded sweatshirt slowly placed his hand behind the counter and started to slide the door open while the clerk, who is right in front of him, had his back turned.

You could then see the suspect inch the door open while his partner in crime watched. And then he distracted the clerk with a possible purchase.

The suspect on the left in the video even came over and talked with the clerk before he made his next move.

“Teenagers come over there, there are no officers, no police, so they go okay, we can do whatever we want,” said the owner.

The surveillance video showed the suspect walk back over to the counter and slip his hand into the open display case, all while the clerk was just feet away.

He grabbed the first tray he could, and then nonchalantly slipped it under his sweatshirt and walked back over to his partner. Then, they both walked away and the clerk noticed the missing tray minutes later. But by then, the suspects were long gone.

“We cannot leave our stores, they know that because we have a lot of merchandise,” said the owner.

He said he hopes that by releasing this video to the public, someone will recognize these two men and turn them in.

In all, these crooks got away with more than $15,000 worth of gold chains.

The store owner said he is offering a hefty reward for the return of his jewelry.

If you know who those two guys are, you are urged to call Oklahoma City police.
