Authorities are on the lookout for a suspect who robbed an Edmond bank, Tuesday morning.

An image of the suspect was clearly captured on bank security cameras during the robbery. According to agents with the Oklahoma branch of the FBI, the suspect entered the Kirkpatrick Bank located at 3001 E. Memorial Rd. around 10 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot heading in a northbound direction.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s with light brown hair and a military-style haircut. He was wearing a black and white plaid shirt, dark jeans, tennis shoes, and was carrying a backpack. The suspect also had sunglasses, but was wearing them on his head in the surveillance footage.

Because of the high quality of the surveillance image captured, investigators hope to have the suspect identified and in custody soon.

If you have any information regarding this robbery, please call the Oklahoma City FBI office at (405) 290-7770. You can remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a reward from the Oklahoma Banker's Association of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Because of its proximity to the bank, Oklahoma Christian University was placed on lockdown for a brief time.
