Early morning showers caused problems on roads in the Oklahoma City metro area, and some residents were without power.

Emergency crews responded to an accident involving an 18-wheeler at I-44 and I-40 in Oklahoma City, early Tuesday morning. The I-40 eastbound ramp to I-44 northbound was shut down at about 1:30 a.m.. The roadways reopened just after 8 a.m.

It appears the semi slid off the road and barely missed hitting an interstate overpass.

Scattered power outages were also reported throughout the morning in central Oklahoma. At 4 a.m. OG&E reported a couple hundred residents near The Village and near Del City were waking with no electricity.

News 9 crews reported minor flooding in some parts of Bethany and Warr Acres.

At about 4 a.m., crews in Custer County responded to a collision involving three semi-trucks in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 at the 69 mile marker. The lanes were shut down for about two hours as crews worked to clear the scene of the wreck.

We have multiple crews that are out this morning monitoring road conditions and will continue to bring you the latest on News 9 and News9.com
