Suspect In Deadly OKC Gun Battle Out Of Hospital And Behind Bars

OKLAHOMA CITY - Jail records confirmed one of the suspects in a deadly Oklahoma City shootout is out of the hospital and behind bars. Shane Rhea is accused of murder, kidnapping, shooting with intent to kill, assault and battery with a deadly weapon and pointing a firearm.

Rhea was previously in the hospital after an officer shot him during the incident that began near a Plaza Inn motel room and ended near a major interstate.

During the shootout, two Oklahoma City police officers were shot, two officers shot at suspects and Rhea was seen shooting and killing a woman near I-35 on Oct. 8 before being arrested along with two others.

    Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin said Tuesday afternoon that a 15-year-old boy shot 14 people Tuesday morning at a southwestern Kentucky high school. Two of the victims, a 15-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl, died. Five others suffered non-gunshot injuries, the governor said. The suspect in the incident at Marshall County High School in Benton, Kentucky, has been apprehended, according to officials with Marshall County Emergency Management.
