The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake near Langston Saturday morning.
The 3.3 magnitude quake shook the area seven miles north of Langston and 11 miles west, southwest of Stillwater at 1:03 a.m.
The earthquake was more than a mile deep, according to the USGS.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
