The playoffs are nearly upon us, but before we can have the playoffs, we have to determine the playoff teams. We can't cover every game each week, but for those we are covering this week, we'll have playoff implications listed below.

Last week, we brought you a heavy dose of smaller division games and this week, we have several titanic matchups in the OKC area, highlighted by an undefeated showdown between Anadarko and Newcastle. Several other games feature teams that are both undefeated in district. Combined with the cool temperatures expected Friday night and this may be the best week yet.

Like we mention every year, we could use your help gathering scores from across the state each week. Keeping track of every score in the state is no easy task, and no one in the state has an up-to-date scoreboard each week like we do. That's because of loyal viewers like you. Here are all the ways you can help us gather scores this year.

Thursday, Oct. 30

Norman North 30, Moore 27

-Norman North needs a win to continue its chances of grabbing the fourth spot out of 6AI-2.

Broken Arrow 44, Edmond Santa Fe 17

-Santa Fe needs a win and some help on Friday night to keep its playoff hopes alive.

Friday, Oct. 31

News on 6 Game of the Week: Skiatook 34, Bishop Kelley 24

-Skiatook is in a three-way tie for first at 4-1, while Kelley is 3-2. Kelley is currently on the outside thanks to its loss to Memorial

News 9 Game of the Week: Anadarko 47, Newcastle 17

-The winner gains a stranglehold on District 4A-1

Lawton 24, Midwest City 22

-Both have clinched a playoff spot. This will determine the district title.

Lincoln Christian 58, Tahlequah Sequoyah 7

-Non-district game

Heritage Hall 27, Kingfisher 16

-This one is for the District 3A-1 title.

Oklahoma Christian 27, Christian Heritage 17

-CHA can clinch the district title with a win. OCS faces one-loss Luther next week.

Verdigris 33, Dewey 6

-Dewey has to win to have a chance. Verdigris needs to win to hold its spot.

Catoosa 48, Miami 26

-Catoosa is in, Miami is out. No drama here.

Guthrie 21, Carl Albert 6

-Both are in the playoffs. A Carl Albert win only helps Deer Creek take the district title.

Jenks 41, Edmond Memorial 24

-Jenks and Memorial are both safe, but a Memorial win would secure things.

Bixby 57, Muskogee 28

-Muskogee needs a win to stay ahead to Bartlesville, which it lost to earlier this year.

Owasso 31, Edmond North 7

-Edmond North is in a three-way battle with Norman North and Southmoore and needs the win after losing to both the past two weeks.

Union 30, Mustang 24

-Essentially for the district title, thanks to Mustang's lead on Owasso in +/-

Millwood 50, Luther 20

-Both should be in. Luther has a chance to claim the top seed in the district with two wins.

Booker T. Washington 42, Sand Springs 35

-Sand Springs can hold on to a tie for the top spot with Bixby with a win. Faces the Spartans next week.

Metro Christian 42, Central 0

-No drama here.

Coweta 35, Edison 7

-Edison needs a win to feel more comfortable about its playoff chances. Coweta should be fine.
