Police arrested three people who are accused of robbing a man at an Oklahoma City park.

The victim told police that at about 3 a.m. Tuesday, three people approached him at a 7-Eleven, located at 1101 N.W. 10th Street, and asked him for a ride to McKinley Park.

The victim said he agreed to give the three a ride. However, when they arrived at the park, one suspect, who was sitting behind the victim, placed an object believed to be a gun against the victim's head.

The suspects then pushed the victim out of his car. The victim said a female suspect began slapping him while the other suspect held the unknown weapon against his head.

After assaulting the victim, police said the three drove away in the victim's car. The victim's wallet, phone, food stamp card, and cash were stolen during the robbery.

Tuesday morning, police were able to locate and arrest three suspects in the case, later identified as 45-year-old Melvin Keith Grundy, 20-year-old Reid Lovett Hope, and 17-year-old Joya June Leyba. All three are being held at the Oklahoma County Jail on charges related to the robbery.
