Man Killed After Being Hit By Car Near Rose State College In MWC

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -

Emergency crews responded to the report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian near 6100 S.E. 15th Street in Midwest City, just east of Sooner Road near Rose State College.

Authorities said a man came out of a bar in the area and headed to his truck across the street.  The driver of a car didn't see the man and struck him in the street. 

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver reportedly cooperated with police.

Traffic was deterred in the area after the incident. Police have not identified the victim at this time.
