TCU steamrolled Oklahoma State 42-9 on Saturday in Fort Worth. Here's some instant analysis, stick around for a full game recap.

What went wrong:

The defense wasn't good, but they'll get a pass considering how incredible TCU's offense is. OSU's offense gets the blame here. Despite trailing throughout, the Cowboys didn't complete a single pass in the entire second half. Daxx Garman had his worst game of the season, completing just 10 of 25 passes for 132 yards and a pair of interceptions. The Cowboys' offensive line couldn't protect anything nor could they open any running lanes.

What it means:

Reality hit the Cowboys right in the face. OSU came in at 5-1 which had many fans believing that big things were possible. But in reality, OSU had a lot of issues that were just waiting to be exposed by a higher-quality opponent. TCU exposed many of those and if the Cowboys want to avoid free fall, they'll have to make some serious corrections, quickly.

Snapping a streak:

The Cowboys' incredible streak of scoring 20+ points is over. OSU had dropped 20 or more in 58 straight games; five shy of USC's 63-game NCAA record. It's tough to see it snapped after getting so close.

OSU MVP:

Ben Grogan. Yep, the kicker. Grogan hit all three attempts and kept the Pokes in the game early on.

What's next:

A home date next Saturday against West Virginia. This one looks a lot harder all of the sudden after the Mountaineers' win over previously-unbeaten Baylor on Saturday.
