The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake in Logan County Saturday afternoon at 2:26 p.m.

The 3.0 magnitude quake shook the area 14 miles west, southwest of Perry and 22 miles north, northwest of Guthrie.

The USGS reported the quake was 0 km in depth.

There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.

According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
