OHP: 6-Year-Old Tupelo Boy Drowns In Pool

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a 6-year-old boy died in an above-ground pool at a private residence in Tupelo.

Authorities said family members found the boy in the pool, which holds water about three feet deep, late Thursday morning.

Emergency crews took Nathan Lynn Richmond to Mercy Hospital in Ada, where he was pronounced dead just after noon that day.

Authorities said there were no witnesses to the incident.
