Man Assaults Tulsa Cashier Over Pack Of Cigarettes

Tulsa Police are looking for a customer who assaulted a Walgreens employee after she couldn't provide the brand of cigarettes he preferred.

Tulsa Police are looking for a customer who assaulted a Walgreens employee over a pack of cigarettes. Police say the assault took place at about 9:45 a.m. August 5 at 51st and Lewis.

The man tried to buy a pack of cigarettes and became agitated when the store was out of his brand, according to a news bulletin from the TPD. He started to accept a different brand then started throwing items that were on the check-out counter.

He then leaned over and punched the female cashier several times in the face. He shoved another worker who was behind the counter and left the store.

Police say the man is an 18-year-old black male with dark skin, 5'06" and 150 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt, dark shorts and white socks.
