OKLAHOMA CITY - Norman police have arrested a suspect following a pursuit across the Oklahoma City metro area Monday afternoon.

According to authorities, officers began chasing a stolen vehicle in Norman.  The suspect reportedly led the officers on a chase across Norman, Moore and south Oklahoma City. 

During the chase, police said the suspect threw something out of the window.

Authorities were able to perform a Tactical Vehicle Intervention, and they ended the chase near S.E. 25th and Broadway. The suspect attempted to run away, but was taken into custody by Norman police officers. 

It is unclear at this time how many people were in the suspect vehicle. 

Police have not identified the suspect at this time. 

Norman, Moore and Oklahoma City officers were all involved in the chase.
