Storm No. 2 comes our way this evening and tonight.

We'll start with the day, which looks great! Highs will reach the 70s and 80s and a strong south wind with gusts up to 30 mph.

Later this evening, after 5 p.m., the cold front will move into the western Oklahoma panhandle and we'll be watching for showers and storms to develop along and just ahead of it. Strong to severe storms will be likely.

The cold front will then move into western Oklahoma after 10 p.m. and a line of strong to severe storms will develop along the front and trudge through the state from west to east. In the image attached, I'm showing showers and storms moving through Oklahoma City between 1:30 and 3:30 a.m. These will likely be noisy and fast moving and into eastern Oklahoma by sunrise.

The morning commute looks free of severe weather, but instead, we'll be dealing with clouds, maybe some showers, and a howling northwest wind. A few residual showers will be possible into the early afternoon as well before skies clear late Monday.

Stay with News 9 this evening as storms develop. We'll keep you advised!
