Police Officially Identify Victim In OKC Gun Battle

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police officially identified the woman who died in a shootout near I-35 on Wednesday. Five people were shot, including two police officers.

Authorities said Samantha Monden, 30, was shot and killed by a suspect who reportedly held her hostage.

Monden was from Lexington, according to police.

Her father spoke with News 9 the day before authorities released Monden's identity.
