MURRAY COUNTY, Oklahoma -

A new report says drugs were found in the semi-truck that slammed into a softball team's van last month.

Bloomberg.com says documents from a police inventory of the truck reveals a silver marijuana pipe and a bag containing prescription drugs were discovered in the tractor trailer.

The accident happened on I-35 in September after the truck veered off the highway near Davis. The crash killed four softball players from North Central Texas College.

Bloomberg's report say police are conducting a criminal probe and drugs were found inside a bag belonging to the truck's driver. The report says the pipe had an odor of burnt marijuana. There were also four prescription drugs including antidepressants inside.

Right now no one has been charged with a crime and there is nothing in the report that says the truck's driver, Russell Staley, consumed any of the drugs.

Investigators did say after the accident the driver admitted he was distracted by "something" in the cab right before the truck hit the van.

The family of one of the students who was hurt is suing Quickway, the Nashville company that owns the truck. Quickway says it will cooperate fully with all investigators.

It's also wanting to work with the college to work on ways to remember and honor those who died.
