Your 2 Cents: Dallas County Deputy Tested For Ebola

As we told you earlier, a Dallas County Deputy who had to go into the apartment where an Ebola patient was staying, is now being tested for Ebola after complaining of flu-like symptoms. You're reaction to that news illustrates the worry and confusion that's out there.

Terri from Shawnee says: “I think it spreads easier than they are telling us!"

Jenifer in Midwest City says: "I thought Ebola could only be contracted thru bodily fluids?"

Melissa says: "They don't really know... That's the frightening part! I don't believe the CDC anymore [sic] than I believe Obama."

And Laurie asks: “He was just in the apartment?"

Cynthia in Wewoka asks: "Were all these people that went to his apartment gloved and wearing PPE? If so, HOW did he get it????"

He was not wearing personal protective equipment, but again this case is not confirmed yet.

Kenia points out: "There we're prob bodily fluids in there already sweat etc. especially if he touched the patient when signing the paper..."

Susan wants to know: "Why did this guy go to a health clinic instead of just calling the hospital, explaining his case and have them come get him?"
