Employees Evacuate After Commercial Fire In SW OKC

Firefighters responded to the scene of a commercial fire at a business in southwest Oklahoma City, Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to the scene of a commercial fire at a business in southwest Oklahoma City, Tuesday afternoon.

Crews were dispatched to the 3300 block of S. Ann Arbor Ave., in the area of SW 29th St. and MacArthur Blvd., at around 1 p.m.

According to reports, the business was evacuated after two acetylene bottles caught fire. It is unclear at this time how the fire started. No one was injured in the fire.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the business and cooled down the tanks. So far a damage estimate has not been released. Hazmat crews were also called to the scene as a precaution.
