Pauls Valley Police Issue Silver Alert For Missing Man

PAULS VALLEY, Oklahoma -

Pauls Valley police have issued a Silver Alert for a 74-year-old man who has been missing since Monday afternoon.

According to police, Byron Vaughn was last seen at 1:45 p.m. on Elm Street in Pauls Valley. He was possibly wearing a gray coat and cargo-type pants.

Police said Vaughn takes medication for dementia, and it is unclear if he has any with him. He was under proven medical or physical disability, and officers believe he is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.

Vaughn is described as a white man with gray hair, a gray mustache and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. Police said he was possibly en route to Texarkana, Texas. It is unclear if Vaughn was driving a vehicle.
