EDMOND, Oklahoma -

Authorities said one woman died in a two-vehicle crash on Danforth Road and Kelly Avenue in Edmond, Monday afternoon.

Three people were transported to the hospital.

The female was taken to OU Presbyterian Hospital where she did not survive her injuries. She was a passenger in the red Corvette. Her husband, the driver, is at the same hospital in serious condition with a head injury. They are both in their mid-50's, according to authorities.

The driver of the dark SUV is being treated at an Edmond hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities said the Corvette was driving westbound on Danforth and turned left in front of the SUV, which was eastbound on Danforth at the same time.
