Oklahoma City Police have identified the suspect arrested after leading officers on a pursuit over the weekend.

OKC Police said around 5:30 Saturday night, an officer pulled over 32-year-old Lemario Stillwell for speeding while driving a gray Chevy impala at NW 10th St. and Council Rd.

During the stop, Stillwell handed the officer his driver's license and insurance, but when the officer went back to his cruiser to run the documents, Stillwell took off, leading police on a chase that lasted approximately 25 minutes, ending with a crash near NW 50th St. and Meridian.

After crashing out, Stillwell refused the officers' commands to exit his vehicle and surrender. According to the report, as the officers approached Stillwell appeared to lunge for a weapon, and hit the accelerator on his car, striking a police cruiser.

One of the officers fired his weapon, striking Stillwell's vehicle. The vehicle continued to accelerate, finally colliding head-on into a Warr Acres police vehicle and coming to a stop again.

Officer once again approached and used their baton to break the front driver and passenger side windows, after Stillwell again refused to get out of the car. Police then pulled him out of the car and placed him under arrest.

Still well was treated for minor cuts and abrasions due to the shattered glass and released into police custody. He is facing two counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon on a Police Officer, one count for Aggravated Attempt to Elude Police, Speeding and Driving Under Suspension.
