OSU Police Investigate Report Of Sexual Assault On Campus

Students are on alert in Stillwater after a female student was sexually assaulted inside her room earlier this week.

Oklahoma State sent out a "Cowboy Alert" late Thursday night. According to the alert, a student reported the sexual assault to campus police Thursday afternoon. She said she met the suspect online and invited him to her room.

The assault took place inside the victim's dorm room in Bennett Hall. It happened the night of Sunday, September 28.

Oklahoma State University police are investigating. The suspect is described as a white man about 25 to 30 years old. He weighs about 200 pounds and has a muscular build. He has brown medium length hair and a tan complexion. He also has facial hair.

According to police, the suspect was wearing two silver rings on his left ring finger, one silver ring on his right middle finger. He has a tattoo on his forearm. Police said he was wearing a blue and white plaid shirt and light colored tattered jeans.
