OKLAHOMA CITY -

Republican Governor Mary Fallin and Democratic nominee Joe Dorman will face off during a televised debate to air on OETA in the race for Oklahoma's top office.

The one hour debate will begin at 7 p.m. in the Student Union at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. It is hosted by the university in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Oklahoma and is the only scheduled state gubernatorial debate before next month's election.

News9.com will stream the debate live starting at 7 p.m.  You can also watch the debate on News 9 Now channel. That's 53 if you have Cox Cable.

Fallin is seeking her second, four-year term in office following a two-decade career in Oklahoma politics that has included stints in the Oklahoma House, as lieutenant governor and two terms in Congress. Dorman is a Democratic state legislator from Rush Springs who is completing his sixth and final two-year term in office.

OSU says questions will be posted by a panel of journalists, including Dick Pryor, OETA managing editor and deputy director; Rachel Hubbard, KOSU associate director and general manager; and Rick Green, The Oklahoman capitol bureau chief. Brandon Lenoir, a visiting OSU assistant professor in political science, will serve as moderator.

Campaign finance reports show Dorman has raised about $655,000, while Fallin has amassed about $3.2 million.
