Our potential for strong to severe storms is low for this evening, but it is there nonetheless. We will keep a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms going tonight in the metro with better chances in northeast Oklahoma along the Kansas border. If any storms do materialize, we could see heavy rainfall, brief gusty winds and small hail. Overnight lows should fall to around 70 degrees.

The metro has a much better chance of seeing showers and thunderstorms early Thursday morning and afternoon as a cold front comes through. The risk for severe weather is low, but the threats will remain wind and hail. Rain chances decrease as the day wears on and temperatures become much cooler as our wind transitions to the north. We shouldn't make it out of the mid-70s tomorrow!
