Christy Lewis Christy Lewis

Christy joined the team at News 9 in September 2014. She was born and raised in Missouri, but comes to the Sooner State from Oregon. For more than two years, Christy served as a reporter and weekend anchor at KDRV-TV in Medford, Oregon. There she covered everything from wildfires and crime, to teacher strikes and human interest stories.

Prior to her time in Oregon, Christy worked at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri for four years doing almost everything. She also worked as a writer and anchor for Newsy and The Huffington Post. And she interned at CBS News headquarters in New York.

Christy has a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri. She grew up just two hours south of campus in a small town.

In her down time, she likes to eat Korean food, go on hikes, travel, shop, and hang out with her family and Maine Coon cat named Harper.
