My 2 Cents: Debate Over Workplace Violence, Terrorism

The experts are spending a lot of time debating whether the terrible attack in Moore last week was a case of work place violence or terrorism.

I doubt it will turn out that the man who will be charged with beheading a co-worker and stabbing another has any direct ties to ISIS, and maybe being fired from his job was the final trigger, but to call it workplace violence is insufficient.

Police call it a crime of passion when they come on a murder scene where there's excessive violence, overkill to put it bluntly.

And the attack at that Moore food processing plant, in my opinion, speaks to much more emotion than losing a job churns up.

You don't just behead someone in a flash of anger, that takes rage, and a mindset that should be completely foreign to the suspect, a guy who grew up in small town Oklahoma.

His own family has said... this isn't the little boy we raised in Idabel.

No it's not, and it's not just workplace violence either, it's much more dangerous.

I'm Kelly Ogle and that's My 2 Cents.
