Another local man is now in jail accused of threatening to behead a co-worker.

Police said the threat was actually made nearly two weeks before the savage attack in Moore last week.

The man told police he was only joking, but Monday night he's under arrest for violating Oklahoma's anti-terrorism act.

30-year-old Jacob Muriithi is now locked up and being treated as a potential terrorist.

On Sept. 13, police said while working at the Bellevue Nursing Home on North Portland he threatened a co-worker.

“Made a comment that he was a member of ISIS and that ISIS cut off the heads of Christians,” said Capt. Dexter Nelson, with OCPD.

The police report said the alleged victim asked if he had a “guillotine set up outside.”

The police report said Muriithi, a citizen of Kenya, claimed he was going to "cut her head off with a dull blade, then post it on Facebook."

“She initially thought he was joking,” said Capt. Nelson.

Police said after learning more about ISIS, the alleged victim called police three days later fearful of her safety.

Police claim they were seeking misdemeanor charges against Muriithi for threatening an act of violence.

The charge got enhanced and became terror related after Thursday's savage attack at Vaughan Foods in Moore.

That where police said Alton Nolen actually beheaded a co-worker after being fired from his job.

“If he is joking, it's his bad misfortune that somebody was beheaded,” said Capt. Nelson about Murriitu.

Muriithi is now being held on a $1 million bond. The District Attorney will decide if he'll face terror related charges.

He has told police he is not a Muslim, but investigators are seeing if he has a connection to Alton Nolen, the man accused of actually severing the head of a co-worker.

So far, police said they have found no connection between the threat made at the nursing home and the attack at Vaughan Foods in Moore.
