Summer-Like Weather Clings To Oklahoma Ahead Of Cold Front

Partly cloudy to mostly clear skies expected overnight in Oklahoma with temperatures dropping into the low 60s. Rain chances will stay confined to the panhandle for now.

Partly cloudy to mostly clear skies expected overnight in Oklahoma with temperatures dropping into the low 60s. Rain chances will stay confined to the panhandle for now.

Storm chances will slowly advance eastward over the next couple of days. Oklahoma City will see plenty of sunshine and above normal temperatures on Tuesday.

The OKC metro has the best chance for storms Wednesday evening and into early Thursday. Some of these storms will be strong to severe, with damaging wind and hail being the biggest threats. Out ahead of this cold front temperatures will soar into the upper 80s the next couple of days.

Finally, the cold front will come through early Thursday bringing a better chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will fall to the upper 70s both Thursday and Friday.
