Chicago Airport Delays Continue To Affect OKC, Tulsa Flights

Several airlines are still experiencing cancellations and delays at O'Hare and Midway airports in Chicago Monday.

It comes after a fire was allegedly set by a disgruntled contract employee at an air traffic control center three days ago. The damage was so extensive the Federal Aviation Administration is completely rebuilding the communications network in a different park of the Aurora, Illinois facility.

For now, air traffic controllers in other regions are handling Chicago area flights.

Oklahoma City's Will Rogers Airport is reporting some issues. United 5859, which was set to arrive in Oklahoma City from Chicago at 10:17 a.m., has been delayed until 10:37 a.m. American 3062, scheduled to arrive in Oklahoma City at 11 a.m. from Chicago, has been canceled.

Also, two flights to Chicago from Oklahoma City have been canceled, including American 3062 that was set to leave at 11:25 a.m., and United 5245 scheduled to leave at 3:15 p.m.

At the Tulsa International Airport, American Flight 2973, scheduled to arrive at 9:15 a.m., is canceled - along with three more Monday:

United Flight 6200 at 12:59 p.m. 

American Flight 3646 scheduled to arrive at 4:25 p.m. and United flight 3836 scheduled at 6:16 p.m.
