Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) officials report a tragic incident in Delaware County Saturday afternoon ended in the death of a Jay, Oklahoma man.

Authorities said 76-year-old Joel Dearrington was showing his wife how to operate a John Deere tractor model with rotary cutter. His wife, Martina Dearrington, 72, was operating the tractor at the time. For an unknown reason, the clutch was released, running over Joel with both the tractor tire and brush hog, according to OHP.
