OKLAHOMA CITY -

A disturbance in the Texas panhandle has been responsible for those mid- and high-level clouds today. Skies should become mostly clear tonight, and with drier air and lighter wind, our temperatures should drop into the upper 50s overnight.

The forecast is pretty easy-going for the next several days. Mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-80s are expected through early next week.

Our next chance for showers and thunderstorms will hold off until late week, next week. As of now, our best chance for storms will be next Thursday. Once this strong cold front pushes through, our temperatures will cool off quite a bit.
