Police Arrest Tulsa Teen On Kidnapping, Shooting Complaints

Police arrested a Tulsa teen they say kidnapped his ex-girlfriend and shot at a car Wednesday night. 

Officers said it started at about 11 p.m. at a home near 46th Street North and Cincinnati. 

Tulsa Police said Antwain Revels, 18, broke into the home where his ex-girlfriend was staying because he didn't want to break up with her. Revels held her captive and assaulted her, police said, Officers said the victim was able to text her sister to come pick her up. 

According to police, when her sister drove up to the house Revels stepped outside and fired several shots at the car with a handgun. Four of the people in the car were children ranging from two years old to grade school age. Officers said several of the bullets hit the car as well as a nearby house and van, but no one was hurt. 

The sister drove away and called police. While the sister was talking with officers Revels and the victim drove by and stopped outside a home at 50th Place North and Boston Place. Police said Revels ran into the house followed by officers who arrested him. Inside the home police said they found a pistol they believe was used in the shooting. 

Revels was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints assaults with a deadly weapon, pointing a firearm, kidnapping, shooting with intent to kill, shooting into an occupied dwelling, possession of a firearm and resisting arrest. Jail records show Antwain Revels is being held in lieu of $1,050,574 bond with a court appearance set for September 25, 2014.
