DEL CITY, Oklahoma -

One person was arrested after fleeing the scene of an accident involving a Del City student in front of the high school, Wednesday afternoon.

First responders were called to the scene around 3 p.m. According to police, the student that was hit at the school was not badly injured, but the driver of the vehicle took off. 

Officers were able to catch up to the suspect not far from the scene, in the area of SE 38th St. and Epperly Dr. That suspect, who has yet to be identified, was arrested for leaving the scene of an injury accident.
