OKLAHOMA CITY -

Fire crews responded to a report of a structure fire on Monday evening on the 3200 block of Castle Rock Road in Oklahoma City.

A woman inside the home told News 9 she was watching television when she saw and smelled smoke outside. Carolyn Bean said she thought it was just the neighbors grilling. When she went to check it out after finishing dinner, she said a young man in his 20's came rushing into their house to get them out.

"Our garage door was open just a little bit and he crawled under our garage door and came into our house and told us our house was on fire," said Bean.

The woman told News 9 she had cats inside the home. But crews were able to put at least one of those cats out of the home.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
