Officials said the new facility will include full emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, physical medicine, laboratory services, physician offices and community space.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently set new guidelines that impact the naming of healthcare facilities. These new guidelines mean Norman Regional will need to change the way its facilities were branded, so they would better fall in line with the CMS license name, Norman Regional. According to a news release, the requirements impact the entire health system. So, the new facility in Moore will be called ‘Norman Regional Moore.'

The temporary emergency services facility on site of the former hospital is still called ‘Moore Medical Center Emergency Services.'
